When driving a large truck, because the truck may not have a synchronizer, in order to smooth the shift and reduce the wear of the transmission shift mechanism and clutch, it is best to use the two-foot electromagnetic clutch shift method. Although this method is more complicated to operate, it is a good way to save fuel and money by driving. So how to shift the two-foot clutch? First of all, we must keep in mind the principle of “upshift first, accelerate first, and downshift first, and downshift”. Before “upshift”, “throttle” the throttle to raise the vehicle speed first, and before “downshift”, “throttle” the throttle to lower the vehicle speed first. When shifting gears, try to use "two-leg separation" as much as possible. When shifting up, follow the principles of "stepping on (clutch), disengaging (neutral), stepping on (clutch), hanging (high-speed)" and quickly stepping on the two-foot clutch pedal. Gears can be easily increased. When downshifting, step on the two-foot clutch in accordance with the principles of "stepping on (clutch), taking off (neutral), lifting (clutch), booming (throttle), stepping on (clutch), hanging (low speed)", and on the first foot After the clutch, blow a foot of empty oil and hold it for a while, then press the clutch pedal of the second foot, and at the same time shift the shift lever to the low gear. Because small cars have a gear synchronizer, there is theoretically no need to use a two-foot clutch operation when upshifting or downshifting. However, in actual operation, the use of two-clutch clutches during downshifting improves the rationality of control, which is very beneficial to the vehicle. It should also be noted here that after the upshift and downshifting, you should step on the pedal without lifting the electromagnetic clutch. A little throttle, and then slowly lift the clutch. At the moment when the clutch pressure plate is combined, step on the clutch without moving it, and then release the clutch after the speed stabilizes. This can prevent the vehicle from "jumping" suddenly.
